I'm Dominique — translator, editor and fiction author. I know what makes a story work, not just in one language, but across two.

I've translated and edited multiple fiction titles that are published and reviewed positively by German readers. As an author myself, I bring something most translators don't: I understand story. Voice, pacing, tension, the weight of a single word in the right moment — these things matter, and they don't survive a careless translation.

Beyond fiction, I bring over 20 years of professional experience in international business environments. Precision, reliability and clear communication aren't just nice to have — they're how I work.

With AI-generated translations becoming the norm, I now also offer post-editing — because even the best AI output needs a trained human eye to get it right.

For my Translation service, I work with an independent native-speaker proofreader who reads the final text without reference to the original. Fresh eyes catch what familiarity misses — and it's the difference between a good translation and one your readers will never question.
